Ordering a custom quilt...

Picture
We have a simple process to guide you through deciding the size, shape, content and design of the quilt.  We will shop for the fabric or you may provide your own.  We can suggest some design ideas that suit your lifestyle and the use of the quilt - or match the receiver if it is to be a gift.  And then we will provide you a quote before we get started working together.  Learn more here.  Below you will see a couple samples of custom made quilts - designed just as the customer wanted it!

Discover your style - Try out our quilt-builder!

There is no commitment to purchase! This process assists you in determining just what you may be looking for and opens the dialogue - so that I can help you decide just what you are looking for!  Click here for the Quiltbuilder form.

This was the concept the customer had - and she decided that she wanted the exact same colours in a queen sized quilt.  Because it was such a specific request, I ordered the pattern so that I could duplicate it as closely as possible.
She also requested that it be reversible.

Here is the finished product before delivery.  The process included choosing 12 fabric in this case, cutting and piecing 375 bits of fabric into the pattern for the top, piecing the back and loading it on the quilt frame with a layer of batting and then quilting it.  It took about 37 hours in total (not including fabric shopping!)
