No Waste, Quick Finish Quilts
We have all done it.... found a great fabric (or several) that we absolutely have to have - and bought well, "one meter of this one, and one and a half meters of that one - oh and I guess I better have a third.. is there another here that co-ordinates?"
Been there, done that. AND even worked behind the counter selling that! And when we have spent more than we had hoped we would - some of us smuggle it home and hide it until we are ready to use it. Others simply wave the bag in the air and say "she who dies with the most fabric WINS!", and head to our stash to store it lovingly - admiring it every few days and wondering what we will do with it! |

The Problem(s)
- Problem #1. No pattern. So the fabric goes home until we find just the right pattern for this amazing fabric - and it hits the stash....
- Problem #2. Find a pattern (finally) and don't have quite enough of one or more fabrics....and it goes back to the stash until we find more.
- Problem #3. We find more fabric (hallelujah!) - buy the last of the bolt - in case we may need more - and it gets added to the stash until we find the TIME to get started on the quilt top!
The Solution
Many - if not all of us are short of time - and fabric is expensive! Would you like a workshop in your area? There are currently 2 one-day workshops designed to have your quilt top finished (or close) in one day! Kits for the workshop are purchasable before the workshop. A list of fabrics needed will also be made available so you may use your own fabrics. Some preparation will be required before the workshop if you provide your own fabric. |
