Payment PolicyAt Jane Street Quilts, I endeavour to provide the best pricing possible, including discounts on services and fabrics, kits and battings.
I endeavour to deliver the services you require and will use text messages and telephone conversations to ensure you approve any work before it is commenced. These notes are saved and on file should you wish to view them. A 50% deposit may be required when you drop off your quilt(s) to be completed. This may be waived for member customers. Final payment is due upon delivery of your completed quilt(s). Payments can be made securely using the secure invoicing platform provided by "Wave". Once an invoice is issued, the preferred payment method is via e-transfer to [email protected]. Customers may request payments via credit card when invoices exceed $200.00. A 5% fee may be added to cover extra service fees charged to the vendor. Occasionally, customers may require or request extension on credit or delayed payments. This is a pre-approved service and is extended only by courtesy of Jane Street Quilts to repeat member customers. As a small business I endeavour to offer prompt and excellent service. I thank you for your prompt payments. |
Overdue PaymentsThe quilting community is a small, tight knit community and trust is paramount between service providers and customers.
It is unfortunate that this policy must exist - but on the rare occasion that a customer does not make payment for services rendered, the following actions will be commenced: Payments that are not received within 30 days of delivery will be subject to a $25.00 surcharge. Additionally, payments over 30 days will be charged at 1.5% per month. Failure to make full payment within 30 days by a customer who has received their quilt(s) without deposit or payment in full upon delivery will be subjecting themselves to civil action through Small Claims Court. Any successful action by Jane Street Quilts will include the original invoice amount and have interest and legal costs added to their amounts owing as per Small Claims Courts decisions. Cheques that are fraudulently written or that are deemed to be Non-Sufficient Funds will be reported to the local Police Service and investigated accordingly. |
