This is my favourite quilt - using the AMAZING French General line “Joie de Vivre”.  Growing up in Quebec - I still have a fond feeling for all things French and when I stumbled upon this line of fabric  - I knew I had to design a pattern that highlighted their warm vintage feel. I have included 11 different fabrics in the line in this quilt!

I called it "Meilleurs Amis" (Best Friends) - simply because my best friends are half square triangles (HSTs).  I love how you can make multiple HSTs at a time and I also like the fact that many edges are bias cut, can be pressed and squared easily and even a beginner can easily manipulate the HSTs so that the corners all match effortlessly.

I have prepared this pattern in a way that is easy to follow with plenty of diagrams.
