When Quilting is your "thing" and Math just isn't!
Quilting for many is the GREAT ESCAPE from everyday stress and many a quilter has found themselves so wrapped up in a project that they lose track of all time.
Nothing however, can cause more stress than trying to figure our just how much fabric you need if you are adding a 5 1/2 inch border to a quilt measuring 65 inches by 70 inches. AND if you are Canadian - how many meters do you need to purchase?
How much backing do you need if you are using 45 inch fabric and having it longarmed? Will I save money if I use a wideback?
How can I turn this beautiful panel into a larger quilt when it measures 23 inches by 42 inches?
What about pre-cuts? What are the benefits and is it cost effective?
How many blocks can I get out of this piece of fabric? Will I have enough?
These are just a few of the mysteries solved in my new book "Measuring Success". Full of easy to read charts and formulas that are simple to remember (or look up if your memory is short), this will be your go-to when you are trying to put together that next quilt!
I have even included quick finish methods at the end to speed up that piecing.
With 50 + pages of information at your fingertips it just may be better than "phoning a friend".

I just quickly looked through your book! Wonderful. Math is not my strong suit, but this is easy to follow and simplifies a lot of the mystery.
I think the best thing is that all the information I could need is now in ONE PLACE! Instead of searching for information/instructions in different books & magazines, everything is all neatly tied together in one place. LOVE IT. -Kathi
Mandie,
I bought 4 copies and gave three away! You should have seen everyone going through the book - it was like it was Christmas morning only these were grown women. It was hilarious. Great Job. We needed this book! -Wanda
